For most of us, this was absolutely heartbreaking. I mean, paint yaar. That was our whole childhood. When we were bored at home, when we were bored in school, at work, basically just bored.
MS Paint shutting down was a huge deal for people all around the world and everyone was pretty bummed about it:
And a little dramatic tbh

And emotional

And just a lot more emotion

A little more

Basically, we were all sad but ready to let go of this like tukra of our past. UNTIL, Microsoft decided to drop this lovely bomb on us:

YUP. BET YOU DIDN’T SEE THAT COMING
It turns out the information about Microsoft Paint shutting down was not entirely true and the uber successful tech giant set the record straight on their blog:

Obviously, the Internet lost it’s shit. Again.
Ohh the wonderful world of gifs

Honestly, thank you so much

What kind of world would this be if we didn’t have dog memes? Not a world we want, that’s for sure.

Very punny friend, very punny.

Though it was a shaky couple of days, it seems as if what started off as a tragic tale will end in happily paint after.
Did you ever use paint as a kid? Are you using it now? Are you still a kid? Do you even know what Microsoft Paint is? Is this getting too long? Let us know in the comments below! Love you.
