Salman Khan has recently been awarded a 5-year sentence in prison after the proceedings of his court case about hunting Blackbucks, and endangered species, were called to a close. While the case was first filed against him in 1998, when the incident actually occurred, the matter just got settled and Salman is to now spend 5 years in prison.
Bollywood celebrities were showing solidarity with Bhai but also respected the law and any and all actions that were taken against Salman

Okay, Mawra, we absolutely love you, baby girl, but what?
a) You can’t cancel out one wrong with another. If there are ‘no human rights’ in the world, we justify that by not exercising animal rights, either?
b) It wasn’t just a random animal that Salman Khan poached, it was an endangered species, an animal that was illegal to hunt
Actress Ushna Shah also jumped in and gave her two cents about Mawra’s point of view about the whole situation
And we must say, she kinda makes a lot of sense
People were calling her out on her statement, left, right and centre
People were trying to break down the conviction
And the fact that it is because of poachers, in the long run, that species near or achieve extinction
Fans of Salman Khan were also expressing their emotions
But there were those who had picked on Mawra calling Salman a saving grace
There were those expressing their disappointment in Mawra’s statement
People brought up his previous accusations, ones he was let go from, as well
There were those who loved Salman Khan but also loved the environment
People also mentioned how the law was the same, across the board
And that it applied to everyone
While Mawra did go back and took to Twitter, once more, to try explaining herself, the damage had already been done
