The famous ‘ABCD’ franchise in Bollywood is returning with its third film, starring Katrina Kaif and Varun Dhawan. The Remo D’Souza led film will feature the two mega Bollywood stars as star-crossed lovers who meet at an international dance competition and well, fall in love we’re guessing. However certain details broke earlier today about the characters of the film, and it hasn’t sat well with many.
Katrina and Varun will be uniting for the first time for the Bollywood dance film
Both actors are known for their striking dance skills and were roped in for the third installment of ‘ABCD.’
A recent reveal in Indian publications about the film, however, has garnered negative reactions
Katrina is going to be playing a dancer from Pakistan while Varun plays a dancer from India.
This little revelation hasn’t gone down well for a lot of people, many who questioned why the film’s casting director couldn’t choose an actual Pakistani for the role

This isn’t the first time Katrina has played a Pakistani on-screen; the actress essayed a Pakistani spy in 2012 blockbuster ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ opposite Salman Khan
