What has happened to jeans, ladies?
A pair of denim shouldn’t be so hard to pull off, with a little rip here or there, but these days rips have seriously gone TOO FAR. Forget knee rips, holes are being put in jeans in places where they seriously shouldn’t be.
Remember the good old days when the only experiment was letting your jeans get torn and tattered by years of use?
Rips were so simple back then. They became a popular symbol of rock and heavy metal and during the grunge phase in the early 2000’s. Rips were ‘natural’ or distressed because they just fit with the entire look organically. These days though…I can’t even digest the state of denim.

While ripped jeans have made a comeback, it isn’t like how I imagined the return to be.

Why would you pay to wear a jeans that is already ripped instead of wearing a comfortable years-old pair that gets ripped by wear and tear?
