Javed Sheikh Tried To Kiss Mahira On The Cheek, And Her Rejection Has Set Twitter On Fire

By Arslan Athar | 21 Feb, 2018

So, last night all of Pakistan’s finest actors got together in Lahore for the Lux Style Awards. The event went by pretty smoothly, but Mahira Khan didn’t have the most pleasant of evenings, thanks to Javed Sheikh.

As video emerged of Mahira going up on stage to accept her award, something interesting happened

After accepting the award from Mawra Hocane, Mahira makes her way to greet Javed Sheikh. The veteran actor swoops in for a peck on the cheek but Mahira was NOT HAVING IT. In the video, you can see the uncomfortableness oozing out of her, she even moves her face away from the impending kiss. Sort of reminds you of the unwelcome kisses you get from rishtedaar you only see at dawats.

Pakistanis online didn’t let this one go!

Javed Sheikh was given a very obvious title

While some saw what Mahira did, full of hypocrisy

Truly, this entire thing screams AWKWARD

But some people found comedy in this

Lessons were learned from this too

In the midst of it all, Bollywood comparisons were made

However, the general consensus was anger

Now that the entire day has almost passed, and the entire Twitter world has commented on the matter, Mahira Khan gave her opinion on the matter

Javed Sheikh definitely is a film industry legend, however, people really attacked the guy after this video came up.

What do you think about this?
