A few days back, HSY revealed some big news on his Insta stories. He announced that model, Iman Ali, was getting married and of course, we were all over the moon.
Soon after the announcement, she posted this picture with ‘the one’.
The model-turned-actress is marrying Babar Bhatti, who it turns out is the grandson of one of Pakistan’s most celebrated war heroes, Major Aziz Bhatti.
In an exclusive interview with Dawn, Iman Ali gave out details of her upcoming shaadi.
The couple intends on having a shendi on the 21st of February- so exactly a month from now! The function will be at dulha’s house. She admits that the function won’t be small at all. ‘We have to invite everybody’- now that’s what we like to hear; sounds like a good old party.
Iman Ali also said that she doesn’t like the idea of a ‘combined’ mehndi.
She wants competition and is clearly preparing for one. In her interview, she said ‘It’ll be an old-school larkay walay-vs-larki walay mehndi. I want the muqabla!’
The model even admitted to not sharing any dholki videos anywhere- she wants her and friends’ move to be confidential- Iman is in this to WIN (and to get married too, but mainly to win).
Lastly, Iman Ali said that she would be getting on the dance floor herself and dancing to a few songs. She added ‘I believe the dulha dulhan should also have fun at their mehndi!’
We look forward to seeing Iman Ali’s dance moves and also seeing what side wins the shendi battle on the 21st of February.
