For someone who says he’s the Imam of Peace, this dude sure spews a lot of hate.
Time and again, I have seen the Imam of Peace being retweeted on my timeline but I paid him no mind. He seemed like one of those Muslims who in their attempt to please a more Western audience end up alienating their own people i.e. the millions of Muslims around the world.
Imam Tawhidi, or as he refers to himself as, The ‘Imam of Peace’ says he merely calls out bad Muslims but somehow he successfully stereotypes entire countries
My situation:
1. They say Islam has nothing to do with terrorism.
2. As a Muslim, I say “Okay”, and begin to criticize extremists and terrorists.
3. I am then accused of insulting Islam.
But you just said terrorists have nothing to do with Islam!?
Anyway…

If he merely criticized the religion without stereotyping all Muslims to seem like extremists, that would be fine. But the way he preaches hate against some Muslim countries, trying to peddle himself as a progressive Imam is plain disgusting.
I honestly didn’t want to give him coverage by addressing the guy since this would give his idiotic ideas another platform but how he was schooled was a little too good to ignore.
In his usual blinded attempt to make Pakistan seem like a regressive country filled with extremists, he tweeted a video of what seemed to be a feud between two factions
In his tweet, he said that these were the ‘educated people’ of Pakistan who voted in the new Prime Minister. And in a way, he insinuated that agar log aysei hain tou socho leader keysa hoga.

First of all, let’s talk about the fact that this dude in his blind hate for all Muslim countries, assumed so many things that I don’t even KNOW where to start. But let’s go to the origin of the video. No one really knows where it’s from. It was being shared on social media as being from Swat.
But then… some people pointed out that the video might actually be from Bangladesh
When you are in such a hurry to malign Pakistan that in heat of that earnestness you post a Bangladeshi video as Pakistani. 😛😜 https://t.co/smEoar3u3j

So we did some digging ourselves and found out that the video was indeed from Bangladesh and not Pakistan, as Imam Tawhidi, so sarcastically claimed
According to The Daily Star, the largest English-language daily newspaper in Bangladesh, the video is from the clashes between Tableegh Jamaat in the Tongi Ijtema Maidan, on the outskirts of Dhaka.

But no matter which region or country the video is from, the fact that this ‘Imam of Peace’ tried to stereotype an entire country as violent extremists is pretty gross.
And he is probably much loved by right-wing parties in the West since he is against immigration as well. LOL. Matlab, khud Australia immigrate hogaya aur ab immigration k against hai. Irony is dead.
Don’t be surprised if a handful of these guys have already applied for visas to migrate to the West and are simply waiting for the spineless members of our immigration departments to bring them over in the name of diversity and multiculturalism. pic.twitter.com/8wd2GDOfuI
