Famous U.K. weekly publication ‘Eastern Eye’ just revealed the results of their yearly, audience voted poll for the ’50 Sexiest Asian Woman’ for 2018. Last year, Priyanka Chopra took the crown for a whopping five years but now we have a new queen ladies and gents.
Deepika Padukone has seized this year’s crown as the ‘sexiest Asian woman on the planet’
It’s the second time Deepika topped the list published by the renowned British Asian newspaper. The editor of the newspaper said, “apart from being the undisputed queen of Bollywood and a strikingly beautiful star, what makes Deepika Padukone special is how big her heart is and how grounded she has remained throughout her remarkable rise.”

Other Indian actresses were also included in the list; Alia Bhatt made it to the sixth position, while Sonam Kapoor placed seventh and Indian television actress Hina Khan made it to eighth. Katrina Kaif placed ninth, while Madhuri Dixit made it to 45th. Jennifer Winget made it to the 13th position.

The newspaper commended her for being a strong symbol of girl power, from being the first Pakistani actress to walk Cannes to continuing her societal duty and charitable work. The actress said “I am grateful to be part of this list once again. My fans are my strength so thank you to them.” She said she “hope[s] to continue to work hard at what [she does] with as much passion as [she has] from the start.”
