Pakistani model, Nadia Hussain, recently took to Instagram and posted a #NoMakeUp selfie in attempts to bring ‘some realness’ to social media and the culture of proper sajjay way selfies.

She called it the #WokeUpThisWayChallenge, which basically means that one should take a selfie without getting into their daily routine of ‘getting ready’.

Her main motivation behind doing this is to raise awareness among the younger generation that social media is not everything, and that they should embrace and love themselves for who they are. She says it best in her own words; ‘But why do we think posting our authentic, real self is somehow not ❤-able enough? It’s time to wake up. Your true YOU is 💥🙌🏽💣🔥’
