So Farhan Virk is apparently a doctor… cool.
There is nothing more fun than a Twitter phadda and Cynthia Ritchie just gave us enough phadda to last the rest of 2019.

Now things might get confusing so you need to sit back and relax for this one.
It all started when Cynthia proclaimed her New Years resolutions, loud and proud.
For 2019, I will no longer respond to peeps w/ a history of being mindless twits, patwaris, khotas, chawwals or lifafas – unless they have something meaningful to say in civil discourse w/ reasoning & intellect.
Not likely to happen but I will pray for them. #NewYearNewAims
— Cynthia D. Ritchie (@CynthiaDRitchie) December 31, 2018
I also welcome new Balochi, Burushaski, Hindko, Kashmiri, Pashto, Punjabi, Sindhi, and Urdu terms that I can learn and use as part of the 'civil' discourse in Pakistan.
I'm taking notes, people. Time for me to expand my vocabulary. Lol.#NewYearNewAims https://t.co/fORjqhHijt
— Cynthia D. Ritchie (@CynthiaDRitchie) December 31, 2018
Then things escalated. Real quick.
Daily Time published a piece by lawyer Yasir Latif Hamdani. In the piece, Hamdani hinted that Cynthia was a shady and had questionable intentions.
I am now looking to hire an attorney for a defamation suit against @theRealYLH.
Hamdani, your lies will be your undoing. If you think I'm going to sit by while you & Daily Times et alia, spit venom, you've got another thing coming. CC: @StateDept @shehryar_taseer @Razarumi pic.twitter.com/AikT6FJ1yl
— Cynthia D. Ritchie (@CynthiaDRitchie) December 31, 2018
Of course, Cynthia got pissed off and decided to call out the publication as well as those associated with her. She also tagged Raza Rumi who happens to be an editor at Daily Times. She called Raza Rumi a ‘hypocrite’ and a ‘twat’ amongst other things, in tweets which have since then been deleted.
While she apologized to Raza Rumi and he graciously accepted her apology, there was one person who did not accept Cynthia’s remorse. And it was the man, the myth, the Twitter legend himself; Farhan Virk!
Clarification: The cyberbullies I meant to show are Kashif & Yasser. I've tried to handle matters privately w/Kashif; I've never met YLH, yet he's attacked me & @HNadim87. Tolerance = two way street.
Apologies to @Razarumi 4 posting pic of him w/ @KashifMD & @theRealYLH. Peace
— Cynthia D. Ritchie (@CynthiaDRitchie) December 30, 2018
Raza Rumi has received bullets for his views against Taliban. You have no right to abuse journalists like this just for the difference of opinion. He is respectable for us. Even those who disagree, respect him a lot.
— Dr Farhan K Virk (@FarhanKVirk) January 1, 2019
And Farhan Virk didn’t back off either.
Virk beta, my apology to Raza came for using language I normally don't and shouldn't use.
You and your 'buddy' had nothing to do with it, so please, go make a sandwich. Your blood sugar is low.
— Cynthia D. Ritchie (@CynthiaDRitchie) January 1, 2019
Phir, Farhan took it personally and lowkey threatened Cynthia.
@CynthiaDRitchie you messed with the wrong Pakistani. Now I will show you where you stand.
— Dr Farhan K Virk (@FarhanKVirk) January 1, 2019
And Cynthia reminded everyone that they are ‘fucking with the wrong bitch’.
@dailytimespak @shehryar_taseer I WILL take this to the highest levels possible.
Libel is a serious matter.
One bc is already being investigated in USA. His job is on the line.
You all are fucking with the wrong bitch. https://t.co/yJqtjPQvJU
— Cynthia D. Ritchie (@CynthiaDRitchie) December 31, 2018
And a lot of people made fun of her for saying that.
Cynthia walks into a store and asks for Coke. The shopkeeper tells her they don’t have coke – only pepsi.
Cynthia: YOU ALL ARE FUCKING WITH THE WRONG BITCH
— Maham Ali (@Mahamali05) January 1, 2019
The Uber Driver: Madam, please put the exact pin location.
Me: you all are fucking with the wrong bitch.#Cynthia
— لبٹارڈ (@khwamkhwah) January 1, 2019
What I don't appreciate is a seemingly respected journalist who uses his position to allow a mindless individual such as @therealYLH to write libelous, untrue words about me. I welcome difference of opinion & civil discourse. Otherwise your uneducated snark makes you look petty. https://t.co/rQ1lJghKmU
— Cynthia D. Ritchie (@CynthiaDRitchie) January 1, 2019
But after all this drama, Farhan tweeted an apology to Cynthia Ritchie. And everyone assumed phadda khatam.
I have made quite a research on your work inside Pak @CynthiaDRitchie I have noticed that you have made thousands of documentaries and millions of UK and US citizens have watched them. I am sorry. I will explain my apology in a vlog today 🙏🙏 I never knew you contributed so much
— Dr Farhan K Virk (@FarhanKVirk) January 1, 2019
And everyone thought that boy haar maan gaya. So when he released the vlog he mentioned in the tweet, I expected him to appear in front of the camera with his tail between his legs except it was the complete opposite. Farhan further alleged that Cynthia was a shady operative with an agenda to change Pakistan’s Islamic laws. He dug up old tweets to support his case which were further circulated on Twitter.
So, dear @CynthiaDRitchie exactly how ignorant you are not to be aware of the fact that Patriots and Die Hard followers of Rasool Allahﷺ are now awake in Pakistan. Be careful. This is our Pakistan. #WeSupportFarhanVirk pic.twitter.com/gMPgq7H7i9

And then people ran polls to see who would win this fight.
Who are you siding with, in Cynthia VS Virk Twitter Spat?
— Maleeha Hashmey (@MaleehaHashmey) January 1, 2019
Hashtags on Twitter were started, a war was declared.
Good luck. https://t.co/ENvk2beFwk
— Cynthia D. Ritchie (@CynthiaDRitchie) January 1, 2019
And as Farhan Virk was gaining support on Twitter, Cynthia said she wasn’t bother at all.
Frankly, I don't know who Virk is. I didn't know there was a 'spat'. I just told him to "make a sandwich", since he was poking his nose into my affairs (which stemmed from bad editing & YLH slandering me in @Dailytimes).
Just realized I am sounding more Pakistani every day. 😃 https://t.co/Q2wNWcKIHY
— Cynthia D. Ritchie (@CynthiaDRitchie) January 1, 2019
She was annoyed at how everyone seemed to attack her.
Hussain Haqqani + YLHamdani aka "shady operative" writer (did USG pay for his education?) + Christine Fair + Daily Times PK staff + Dawn News staff + VOA staff + members of PMLN, PPP & now this Firk.
A common network in 'attack mode' on SM, while many negate 5th gen warfare.
— Cynthia D. Ritchie (@CynthiaDRitchie) January 2, 2019
And then Farhan started taking out grammatic errors in Cynthia’s tweets cause we all know that’s how you win a fight over the internet!
Even our 9 year olds can write better english than this.
I don't know if it's her or someone else writing tweets for her. pic.twitter.com/Nolm5EGEML
