Sony Playstation 2 is perhaps one of the most popular gaming consoles around the world. During the early to late 2000’s, it along with the first generation X-Box and Nintendo’s Game Cube changed the standards for gaming in a drastic way. While the other two consoles did achieve some success internationally, in Pakistan, however, PS2 took the cake.

So as a throwback to our childhood here are some PS2 games that made it worthwhile:

You hardly came across anyone with an X-Box back then and Game Cube was completely out of the question. Given that it was easier to modify consoles of that generation, you could buy all the pirated games you wanted for as less as Rs 100. For more than a decade this console brought joy into the heart of kids across the country and frustration in the hearts of their parents. Sadly, around 2012 the PS 2 was discontinued but it still lives in our hearts.
