When unarguably incredibly fine actors come together, coupled with a spectacular director/writer, then something magnificent is bound to arise from such a sparkling collision. Mohammed Ehteshamuddin, if you don’t know, is the man behind ‘Udaari,’ and ‘Sadqay Tumhare.’ Now, take actor Ahsan Khan, who projected himself as possibly one of the greatest Pakistani actors from roles like the patriotic Saleem in ‘Dastaan,’ to the vile and evil villain Imtiaz in ‘Udaari.’ And finally, we come to Mawra Hocane – from surface she’s bubbly, soft and very flimsy but the actress has proven herself as a phenomenal actress, in particular her breathtaking portrayal of Sammi from ‘Sammi.’
So, Ahsan and Mawra – two fine, fine specimens will be coming together for a drama inspired by ‘Dastaan’ according to this source (and this)

And Mawra’s beautiful attire in ‘Sammi’ for visual aid

The drama has been named ‘Aangan’ meaning courtyard, and will be produced by Momina Duraid

Mawra recently tweeted a BTS snap of shooting which has begun
With the hasthag #1947, we can only speculate incredible aesthetics and an archaic softness to the drama.
