Our heroes are still reeling in their remarkable win against India. They returned home to spectacular embrace, saluted in glorious manner and splendor as the true kings that they are. And they’ve been very busy upon their homecoming, championing various television shows across the country, basking in their victory and sharing it with the nation.
The boys were on Aamir Liaquat’s show as part of the post-Champions Trophy celebration
Confetti looming overhead, with mounted flags and a delicious Pakistani themed cake awaited the Pakistani cricketers, who seemed to relish the show immensely.
And analysts like Zainab Abbas visited the players and their homes, like cricketer-of-the-moment Hassan Ali
The interview gave cricket fans a splendid insight into Hassan Ali’s humble background and hometown.
It’s all been a huge celebration, after all India ko haraya hai

More recently, the boys in green paid a visit to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat in Islamabad, looking very dapper
They took a group photo there, and it was subsequently uploaded by the PCB on Twitter. The photo had been picture perfect, had it not been for a particular player who’s action stood out like an incredibly sore thumb.

Cricketer Ahmed Shehzad tried to snap himself with his phone as the cameras clicked, complete with a slight pout in an attempt to capture the ideal selfie

Pakistanis have not stopped tee-heeing at Ahmed and his little stunt

Others were far more livid at Ahmed standing at the forefront of the picture
Ahmed Shehzad doing what he does best (something everyone can easily do), taking selfie from the front, what a shameless person.
— SAH (@SAHTPW1) July 4, 2017
Labeling him a ‘muftay‘
— imWK (@mwajahatw) July 4, 2017
Ahmad Shehzad …………ufffffff

Some collectively agreed that Ahmed was undeserving to steal away the spotlight

From more meritorious players

Who helped lead us to the triumphant win against India in the ICC Final
How does Ahmad Shazhad always manage to make it to the front of every picture? Get to the back and put Faqar at the front
— Qasim Sheikh (@QasimQQaz) July 4, 2017
Top row talent and future. It fades as you come to the front row…@FazeelaSaba1 ?
— Hamid Mukhtar Malik (@Hamid_Mukhtar) July 4, 2017
And why the hell every time that selfie boy always has to be in front when deserving are back
— Go Nawaz Go (@Norzaly) July 4, 2017
Others didn’t notice anything striking and instead took this opportunity to commend the players

What do you think of Ahmed Shehzad’s attempt to take a selfie during the group photo? Was it in poor taste?
