Oh Yeah, You Want to See This Afridi Reaction From Last Night That Everyone Fell in Love With

By Iman Zia | 1 Mar, 2017

Amidst the usual bout of verbal abuse splattered all over social media against headbutting cricket fans, Peshawar and Quetta fans (and everyone else) called a momentary ceasefire during the PSL match yesterday.

All because of Lala, aka Afridi giving this look

Afridi was reacting to Quetta Gladiator Kevin Pietersen’s six, and kudos to the cameraman who captured such a natural point in such a quick paced match! Here it is again:

afridi

And again:

It struck a chord with many Lala fans who wanted to relive the little moment

With some appreciating both teams for the six and for Afridi’s response!

It wasn’t long before Afridi fans screenshotted his face

And the snippet was trimmed into a small video

And gifs were made in typical fashion

What followed were, of course, the usual bout of memes that played on his adoring face

Even ones that shed light on Afridi’s cricket-ship with Pietersen

Afridi even got his own Inner Kermit joke

Some got a lil frivolous with the memes

While some got a bit too real

And made his lil cutsie face very, very relatable for not just cricket fans!

You gotta love Afridi. The smallest of gesture relayed by him is enough to melt hearts. Afridi’s face, bringing people smiles 🙂
