By Maliha Khan | 17 Mar, 2018

Life of a Pakistani student away from home is intense

Whether you have decided to travel abroad to further your studies, or simply reside anywhere besides Pakistan, college life is not as you imagined it to be.  Watching all of those movies that portray college years to be the best time of your life are all false if you are Pakistani living away from home in dorms.

Weekends are a way to relax and catch up on some homework or sleep, considering you work your butt off all week long. If you live far before be prepared for constant communication and surprise visits.

Never take home-made food for granted, because there are people in the world deprived of this treat.  There is nothing like food-watering biryani made by your mom or chicken tikka made by your dad.
