Virender Sehwag called Imran Khan a welder after suffering from some hearing problems
Indians being salty AF with Pakistan is nothing new. Particularly since Modi illegally put a communication blackout in Kashmir, and Pakistan has raised its voice against these atrocities relations between the two countries, which were already pretty sour, have taken a nosedive. Both countries find every opportunity to troll each other and Virender Sehwag just got himself into trouble doing just that.
Virendar Sehwag called Imran Khan a ‘welder’ after seeing a clip of an American TV anchor calling PM Khan a word that sounded like it
PM Khan was being interviewed by Joe Scarborough, a popular cable TV anchor in the US. When Imran Khan complained about US roads being bumpy and infrastructure not being up to the mark, the TV anchor said “you don’t sound like the Prime Minister of Pakistan right now, you sound like a voter from the Bronx”.
You sound like a welder from the Bronx, says the anchor.
After the pathetic speech in the UN a few days ago , this man seems to be inventing new ways to humiliate himself. pic.twitter.com/vOE4nWhKXI— Virender Sehwag (@virendersehwag) October 3, 2019
Seems like Sehwag bhai has some kind of hearing problem or maybe he just can’t decipher an American accent.
His fellow Indian cricketer, Saurav Ganguly, seemed to agree with him
I guess both players are suffering from severe hearing loss and the Indian government may need to provide some special care to their retired cricketers.
Viru .. I see this and I am shocked ..a speech which is unheard of .. a world which needs peace ,pakistan as a country needs it the most .. and the leader speaks such rubbish ..not the Imran khan the cricketer world knew ..speech in UN was poor ..

People obviously couldn’t handle the stupidity of Virendar Sehwag calling Imran Khan a ‘welder’
This is Modi's India where cricketers are made to write fake news against Pakistan. The anchor said 'voter' but @virendersehwag saying 'welder' just to fit in with the propagandists. https://t.co/87kHQ97eQt

Ushna Shah just couldn’t stop herself from ripping Sehwag a new one.
I don’t watch cricket but I’m guessing you’re one of the stupid cricketers.

Even Indians couldn’t help but troll the utter stupidity of his tweet
He clearly said 'voter', not welder. Voters in the Bronx have had long-standing problems with their infrastructure.
Not sure how any of that is embarrassing for Imran. https://t.co/KY21BIyMQS

They even defended Imran Khan for being a better cricketer and obviously a better politician than Sehwag

People called out the hyper-nationalist mindset of Virendar Sehwag toward Imran Khan by lying that he was called a welder
Bhai ek to angrezi aur woh bhi amreeka waali. Terey to family mein bhi kisiko samjh naa awegii😂😂😂🙏🙏
"Voter" Not Welder Nawab ji!!#HyperNationalistSehwag

Things became so intense that the American TV host had to step in and clarify that he had not called Imran Khan a ‘welder’
What in the world are you even talking about? As I tweeted earlier, I said “voter” from the Bronx. https://t.co/SI1DAJZ90Q

Sadly, the thirst for blood and war has made people on both sides absolutely blind. Thankfully there are a few sane voices who aren’t afraid to call a spade, a spade and this is exactly what happened in Sehwag’s case when he tried to lie about Imran Khan being called a ‘welder’. May better sense prevail on both sides, but most especially among Indians because they seem to be turning into a fascist mob of sheep.
