So Umar Akmal just got removed from the Pakistani cricket team squad for the upcoming ICC Champions trophy. Umar Akmal has been sent back from England after failing yet another fitness test. This is the second time the Middle order batsmen was let go from the Pakistani team within the span of two months. Earlier on he was dropped from the team in its bout with West Indies.’

PCB has officially announced that Haris Sohail would be taking Umer Akmal’s place in the squad for the upcoming Champions Trophy that is to commence on June 1. Umar Amin, and Asif Zakir were also considered for the role alongside Haris Sohail. All three were called to submit fitness tests at National Cricket Academy (NCA) today.
We hope Mr. Akmal comes back into playing form, soon.
