1. Pyaar Lafzon Mein Kahan
The highly successful Turkish drama has been dubbed in Urdu and is now on its 104th episode (yes, you read that right). Murat is the dashing manager of a multinational company who falls for his assistant, Hayat.
2. Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka
This mega famous Indian serial is about two best friends, a broken marriage that evolves into an affair. The unhappily married Nandini realizes that she’s falling for Kunal, someone whose already married. It’s quite the guilty pleasure!
If you miss Rob Stark from ‘Game Of Thrones,’ then see him in new show ‘Bodyguard.’ Richard Madden works as a Specialist Protection Officer for London’s police until he’s assigned to be the bodyguard of high-profile Home Secretary Julia Montague – whose got quite a few secrets.
Another really addictive Indian serial, ‘Bepannah’ tells the story of two people whose respective spouses were found dead together – leaving questions behind as to why they were exactly together. It’s fascinating, and we see both mourn the loss of their significant others while they come together to solve the mystery.
5. Little Things
This beautiful little web series just got picked up by Netflix, and it’s worth your time. It’s about two lovebirds who are in a modern day millennial relationship, living together and just trying to adapt to societal pressures.
This show has been running for many years, and it’s still one of the highest rating dramas in Indian history. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, it’s about the daughter of a snake couple who avenges her murdered parents – oh, and major twist, she ends up marrying the son of one of the murderers!
7. The Handmaid’s Tale
This heavy adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s novel of the same name is fantastic. It’s about a dystopian future where birth rates are low and an environmental turmoil has resulted in a declining future generation. So a totalitarian society is formed where they round up fertile women and make them maids – where they’re forced into sexual servitude as a last attempt to repopulate the world.
8. Sacred Games
The highly acclaimed Nawazuddin-Saif starrer is renewed for a second season, so catch up on this gritty story of betrayal, gangs, and crime in this fantastic series that’ll have you hooked from the first episode.
Another Turkish one for you all! This one’s actually quite an adorable story of how a girl falls in love with her best friend’s brother only to realize that he doesn’t love her back. It’s a tale of unrequited love and while that might sound dreadful, just keep watching it – you’ll learn a lot about life.
This Spanish Netflix show is A D D I C T I V E. Three working-class children enroll into Spain’s most prestigious school, but sooner or later one of their classmates ends up dead – and everyone’s a suspect!
11. The Haunting Of Hill House
This ten episode show is utterly terrifying, but you can’t stop watching. It follows a family who grow up in a house that ends up being one of the most haunted houses in the country; as adults, they’re forced to confront their past after a tragedy.
