When it comes to President Trump, a lot of us are pretty much in agreement over how we feel about the guy. He’s not the biggest fan of Muslims (or people, in general) and the feelings seem to be pretty mutual. However, Trump’s proposed US travel ban has affected countless lives. It has separated many families, and those families are now fighting back – lekin pyaar se.

People are using photos of them chilling with their dadis and nanis to highlight the importance of family.

And honestly, it’s really heartwarming

Not only does it highlight how much grandparents mean to these Muslims…

…it kinda also sheds light on how innocent people are being affected by the ban

You’re also left wondering – why are families being torn apart?

On a very serious note, the account, by posting such pictures, highlights how ridiculous the ban is to a certain extent

The need for security is understood. We live in dark times where a lot of unfortunate incidents keep happening on and off. However, to malign, ostracize and ban followers of an entire religion from one’s country seems a wee bit severe, nahi?

Here’s hoping these dadis, nanis and dadas can soon reunite with their families.
