Shahid Afridi has been a big part of the cricket culture in Pakistan. In recent years, he’s been one of the most talked about players this country has ever seen, whether it was for his ever-changing retirement announcements or his uneven performance in international cricket during the last few years. Last night, Pakistan paid tribute to the legendary career of Shahid Afridi and the ever-graceful Misbah-ul-haq

 

This came during the last match of the three-match tournament with the World XI, playing the Independence Cup, in Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore

 

The two were driven round the stadium in rickshaws in a “lap of honor”, amidst thunderous applause from the audience
