Okay, this is adorable.

Pakistani men can be some of the best in the world.

They can be respectful, kind and protective over the ones they love. However, they are most protective over one of the most important relationships in their lives. You guessed it, the relationship between a Pakistani Mother and her son.

Now, if you are a girl reading this and you have brothers, you most likely know what I am talking about. Pakistani Mothers absolutely adore their sons. They may tell you that they don’t have a favourite and they may tell you that they love you both equally – but that would be a straight up lie. But this isn’t about siblings, this is about the Mother and son relationship.

And this guy’s love and concern for his mama is the sweetest thing ever.

This guy carries an ‘Ammi I’m Fine’ poster around with him wherever he goes and it is adorable.

Also, it’s a sure way to make sure your parents don’t flip out when you travel.

Azlan Shah, who you may recognize from Karachi Vynz, decided to start carrying around this huge poster wherever he went so that his concerned Ammi (mirroring every Ammi in the world) would know that he was doing just fine, no matter where he was.

This is pretty much the most genius and genuinely sweet way to make sure your parents are at ease when you are travelling on your own or studying abroad. Just a sweet check in with the folks to assure them that their kids are alright because literally, that is the most important thing to them.

We reached out to Azlan to ask why he started this love campaign in the first place and we have got to say, his back story just made this thing all the sweeter.

He said, “Okay, the thing is I love travelling and me and my friends were planning an international trip. We were planning to travel for a month and my mother was getting worried because you know, how brown moms are…”

“So I just I had that idea that wherever I go I will send a picture to my mother with the sign “Ammi, I’m fine”

He went on to say, “So I did that, but sadly our local people were a bit slow to get the idea, but internationally, people loved it and people from different languages kept asking who is Ammi? And I told them that it means mother in Urdu. They loved it that I’m giving a message to my Ammi in a unique way. People who travelled with me were quite excited and they started taking pictures with me. People loved it globally and appreciated it a lot.”

Currently, Azlan is on his very first road trip from Karachi to Peshawar and naturally, he says his Mother is pretty much freaking out.

“Haha yes, she’s happy that I’m fine and doing good but still my mother calls me every day and asks if I’m eating properly or not aur jub kabhi call nahe karti toh I get worried keh Ammi ki call Kyun nahe ayi.

My Ammi Abbu are very particular about my health and my activities as every parent is but the best part is they love to know each and everything thing I do/with whom I’m meeting like different people around. They listen and appreciate me a lot that gives me more motivation. They both are happy but also very concerned.”

It’s the sweetest thing and sincerely one of the nicest things a kid can do for their parents, just giving them the comfort of knowing that they are okay.

^And also don’t ever send this image to your parents for the love of keeping them sane.
