For most brides, the hardest part about getting married is knowing the time has come to leave their old lives behind. However, for one bride, in particular, nothing was going to change.

This Bengali bride stopped mid-tradition to explain that she could never repay her parents for everything they had done for her.

During a ceremony called, ‘Kanakanjali,’ it is a tradition that brides, in a way to honour their parents, are meant to say that they repaid their parent’s debts while throwing rice. However, this bride, stopped midway to say that a parent’s debt can never be repaid.

Apart from this, while leaving the hall, she looked back at her parents with a smile on her face, assuring them that she would be back whenever she wanted.

Not only was it super sweet, but it was also super refreshing to see a young bride letting her family (and new family) know that she was not throwing her old life and relationships away, but instead adding on to them with a whole new set of loved ones.

The bride’s bold yet adorable gestures caught the attention and love of people all over social media.
