GREAT Friday morning.
For most of us, Dollar rates don’t really mean anything.
Nope, not in that sense.^ Mostly just because, market rates? Cool? I guess?
But friends, today – the dollar hit 142 Rupees. This means that one dollar is now equal to 142 rupees.
#Dollar price reaches up to Rs. 142 with an increase of Rs. 8

And it may not sound it, because okay, what can you get with 142 rupees nowadays. But what it means in the bigger scheme of things, for Pakistan?
The increase basically means that our economy is going to shit.
In the last couple of months, with Stock Market point drops and increasing currency rates around the world, Pakistan has not been in the best shape, economy wise. While isolated, it’s not so much a problem. But because it has been happening overall on a large scale, yeah – it’s a problem. And let’s just say,
Now that the dollar has reached a historic high, Pakistanis are losing their shit. But also, in a hilarious way.

Others have been blaming the downfall on Imran Khan and the fact that his first 100 days haven’t been too fruitful.

Nice to know that even if the economy is falling apart, Pakistanis still have a solid sense of humour, lmao.
