Lmaaaoooooo, burn.
Though they are not always known for their quick wit and comebacks, there are always instances when certain officials in Pakistan come out with absolute zingers when it comes to besti-ofying.
Must be thanks to years of feeling the burn from our Ammi’s.
And clearly, for Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat, this training for sure paid off.
In an absolute savage comeback to a guy on Twitter, the Deputy Commissioner in Islamabad just owned Twitter in the nicest possible way.

And alrighty, to give you some context, let’s go back to the beginning. The fun started when honorary (basically) citizen, Jeremy McLellan tweeted his usual Pakistan-inclined anecdote on Twitter.
Following a pretty hilarious and bizarre account of journalist Nusrat Javed on Twitter,

Jeremy put his own little twist on the encounter.
People laughed, there wasn’t much of a thing around it.
Except clearly, there was for this guy.
When your @dcislamabad ‘likes’ the insensitive tweet from a comedian, making fun of attack on @javeednusrat which is precisely an attack on freedom of expression & safety of journalists.
DC Sb, this is a comedian w some links with PTI, you don’t have to loose your professionalism pic.twitter.com/Y2JHeSN6Kh— Adeela Khalid (@adeelaz) December 9, 2018
Besides being clearly offended by the tweet, the user pointed out that the Deputy Commissioner was at fault for liking the ‘insensitive’ tweet.
In efforts to seemingly calm the user the fuck down, the DC was chill enough to unlike it.
Jeremy then decided to speak up to the dude.
To which, lmao, the Shafaat had the best response.
Honestly, it was such a nice bestiofy as well, no? Like so tameezdaar.
Lmao, and his humour caught on pretty quick as well.

AND HIS JOKES DIDN’T STOP THERE!
Should I retweet this or should I not?

Whatta guy.
Retweet, then unretweet, then reretweet

Great day for the DC, not the best one for Adeela K. Zubair.
Have you guys seen the tweets? What did you think of the way the DC responded? Fan? Not a fan? Let us know in the comments below! Love you.
