I honestly don’t get Pakistani mentality at times. At most, it’s beyond my understanding, and at times (more often than not), I find myself floundering in the sheer stupidity of the people of our country. It’s hilarious at most, and while I often brush off the usual act of folly on social media and uncurbed hate when it comes to literally any Pakistani celebrity breathing, this latest little instance is honestly absurd.
Actor Shahroz Sabzwari took to Instagram to post a picture of him and wife Syra to celebrate Valentine’s Day
The couple made the god awful and unimaginable decision to snap an adoring photo and post it on social media – what on earth were they thinking?

In all seriousness, I loved the picture, so I double tapped it instantly, admired it for a wee bit and scrolled swiftly on (as anyone should to tbh)…
The photo was later uploaded to the popular Facebook page ‘All Pakistan Drama Page’ and was almost immediately ripped apart by (imbecile) Pakistanis
Here we go…let’s start with the crude jokes mocking Syra’s…dare I say…breasts

*cue my sarcastic responses*
She isn’t actually, she’s wearing a bra underneath a bodycon top so…wait…yes, she is actually ‘showing’ her covered boobs! We must alert the church elders!

She’s promoting the most vulgar dressing in the world, her neckline really couldn’t get lower

May God guide you to the right path getting a brain mate

…

What, please tell me what has she given away that’s so disturbing? Shahroz is showing off more cleavage than Syra is

Comments about ‘stooping low’ filtered in too, with Pakistanis chipping in on having a taste as moral police

…

Yes, Syra has ruined religion, neigh, all the women of the entertainment industry have ruined Islam

Comments followed that honestly don’t even deserve thought

There were the odd few intelligent users who tried to shut down trolls

And then a few jokers amidst it all, but honestly at this point, it’s not funny really, rather sad that this is the mind we live in

Honestly, there was nothing wrong with this picture, and yet the people of this country seem to have a problem with everything, creating mountains out of molehills.
