Sonam Kapoor tied the knot with businessman and entrepreneur Anand Ahuja, last week, and the wedding was the sheer definition of virality. From the very first time that we heard about the wedding, it was all over our Internet and social media news feeds. From the mehndi and all the celebrities that were present and everyone going crazy at it, to her wedding party which was legit the biggest Bollywood party we’ve ever seen.

The happy couple made our hearts melt every time we saw them together

With the Cannes Film Festival going on in full swing, we saw some of the biggest Bollywood actresses grace the event with all their oomph and fire

We saw Aishwariya Rai Bachchan dance into our hearts like the peacock dress that she was wearing

And Deepika Padukone completely bowling us over with not only her over the top dress that we could sleep in

And also this crazy amazing pant suit that was, ugh, just so beautiful and edgy at the same time

Our very own Mahira has been ruling the fashion game at Cannes, too

But one thing we were missing was the fashion icon and diva, Sonam Kapoor, herself

But we don’t have to wait for too long because she’s arrived

However, there was one person who was missing her terribly, and that was her husband, Anand Ahuja

He put up a whole thing on his Instagram story about how proud he is of his wife

He wrote:

“so proud and motivated by you and your team of hard working, super talented and overall glamorous girls. Best of luck at Cannes”

But it wasn’t before he tagged her and wrote “missing @sonamkapoor”

Sonam had already put up the same picture with her feelings on her story, as well, with the caption “miss my guy ♥♥♥”

The thing is that the two had to postpone their honeymoon because of Sonam’s work commitments and her putting her work that she had already committed to before

Sonam is all set to walk the Cannes red carpet on the last two days of the event. While we know we’re going to be blown away by what this diva will be wearing, but here’s hoping that Sonam and Anand are reunited sooner than later because it breaks our hearts seeing them this far away from each other! Love you two. Okay byeee ~
