Shaz Khan has quickly transcended to stardom. The actor’s drama debut, ‘Yakeen Ka Safar‘ saw Shaz ooze into the humble, kind and soft lawyer Daniyal fighting for the injustice thrown upon a girl who was raped. As luck is almost never on our sides, Daniyal gets tangled up with a few bad buds and is unlawfully murdered for having such dogged determination to fight for equity. It was heartbreaking because we saw such little of his character; he had so much, and we were stripped of a character we had begun adoring. It left a dark mark on his parents, younger brother Asfandyar and wife Gaiti, all who would naturally never be the same ever again. Daniyal was a pillar of strength for the family, and without him, life felt hollow.

He poured out his ‘gratitude’ for such tremendous applaud around the entire drama and the endless love from fans. Shaz beautifully said that ‘we actors are just ships that carry the weight of the character and story,’ before thanking the incredible writer behind the show, Farhat Ishtiaq.

It’s been an emotional rollercoaster on the drama, but to finally see a beloved character get the justice he deserves, is truly something else
