Shaniera Akram Visited Punjab And The Internet Loves It

By Sarah Babar | 28 Sep, 2017

An Australian by birth, Shaniera Akram is possibly one of Pakistan’s most loved sweethearts. She’s a social worker, a philanthropist, and has even had a fling with modelling. With statement Pakistani familiarity, we have all dubbed her bhaabi. She is married to one of the most legendary cricketers, Wasim Akram, and together they make a beautiful family.

While Shaniera was initially known as Wasim Akram’s wife, she has now completely come into her own

Missing this lot! The Little Sabri Qawali. Hope to see them this Eid! ????

And she’s definitely more Pakistani than Australian, now

People all over Pakistan absolutely love her and don’t hold back one bit while showing it

And now, she’s making people fall in love with her even more, with her recent visit to Punjab

Sprinkled with a Lollywood reference, Shaniera looked adorable standing in a field, in true Punjabi fashion

Instantly, Humayun Saeed replied to her and showed his keenness for her to watch his film, Punjab Nahi Jaungi

Wasim Akram also jumped in because he wanted to be part of the cool crowd, too

And obviously,

After all the friendly conversations and dinner plans were done, people didn’t shy away from proclaiming their love for their bhaabi

Like this girl who just loves bhaabi

And this one who spoke the truth

This guy who was being a true Punjabi host

Aww and aww 🙂

So much loooove

Wese hain tau sahi

This guy who thinks Shaniera is a role model for all

There were those who wanted to ensure their bhaabi was well fed

There was definitely some sisterly love in the air

There were those who translated everything for her, including the word bhaabi

And those who were purely full of love

I think our message is going across pretty clearly. We love her bhaabi too and hope she gets to go around more of Pakistan and takes us through her journey, too.
