Titan producer Momina Duraid made all our dreams come true after confirming to BBC Asian Network journalist Haroon Rashid that ‘Suno Chanda’ would be returning for a second season. The ensemble cast would be returning, and while that’s all we know so far, it’s enough to keep all of us going – the show might return for next Ramazan, and although it’s quite a long wait, the fact that Farhan Saeed and Iqra Aziz will be setting our telly screens on fire once more is honestly worth the suspense.
While we’re undoubtedly sure the season will be just as entertaining, here are 13 plotlines we’re hoping for!
1. Jia and Arsal attempting to deal with parenthood
2. Shah Jahan and Bi Jaan get married (please)
3. Kinza leaves ‘Suno Chanda’ for good (sorry not sorry)
4. …And Sherry actually finds someone WORTHY OF HIM (King)
5. Jamshed and Shahana have another child (love these two as parents)
6. Jalal gets a new love interest, causing Billo to get super jealous and Jawad in turn mega jealous, only reigniting the love triangle once more LOL
7. Some girl who has her eyes on Arsal, making Jia jealous (we all love jealousy on-screen, don’t deny it)
8. Huma (remember Jia’s friend)? and Sherry totally hit it off
9. Jia finally gets to go abroad and Arsal is a supportive husband because we KNOW HE CAN BE
10. Another rendition of the ‘Suno Chanda’ OST, please
11. More emotional scenes that tear us apart
