Pakistanis are on cloud nine right now after beating South Africa, Sri Lanka and then England respectively to reach the glorious final of the Champions Trophy 2017. Certainly it led to a bucket load of celebration from Pakistanis all over the world.
While we were celebrating fervently, we had international sportsmen tweeting congratulations to the boys in green.
Our man Shane Warne
Congrats to Pakistan on trouncing England today. Pak peaking at the right time. What a massive turn around in form from the start of #CT17

And legend Chris Gayle…
Oops, England did it again.

The Jemima and Fatima Bhutto had a little banter over the celebration, also
I go bananas on international Pakistan matches.
— fatima bhutto (@fbhutto) June 14, 2017
Kumar Sangakkara also congratulated Pakistan’s solid win against England
Great win by @TheRealPCB. To come back from the first game against india and now make a final by beating england shows great character.
— Kumar Sangakkara (@KumarSanga2) June 14, 2017
And so did Saeed Ajmal
Great win by Pakistan To come back from the first game against india and now make a final by beating england shows great character.
— Saeed Ajmal (@REALsaeedajmal) June 14, 2017
Do you notice anything odd?
Yup, he pretty much just pulled the old ‘copy-and-paste’ and copied bechara Kumar’s tweet, slyly (but not so subtly) replacing the @TheRealPCB with Pakistan.

Ajmal’s sneakiness didn’t go unnoticed
Copied from Sangakara

Opening and closing ceremony will be done by India for Pakistan ?

People really were savage with how the tweet was a WORD-FOR-WORD copy of Sangakarra’s
Copy/paste Urdu main hi likh detey
— Shahab Khan (@Engr_ShahabKhan) June 14, 2017
Some people actually forgot the rules of being a civilized human being
Sangakkara ki tweet krli chutiye
— Nitesh Sharma (@Im_nitz) June 15, 2017
And wrongly targeted Saeed’s English
I know ur English is a bit offtrack.
But bro copying is not a good thing— Satyam Garg (@iamsatyamgarg) June 15, 2017
This reminded us of the whole controversy with Sarfraz, too.
Wow, that’s a little rude.
Kamine chor, Teri begum ki pitch pe tu khud batting karta hai ya @KumarSanga2 ko bulata hain?

dad of Pakistan had some valuable closing comments

What do you think of Saeed Ajmal and Kumar’s tweet being word-for-word, same?
