Saeed Ajmal Tried To Get Away With Copying Sangakarra's Tweet But No One's Having It

By Iman Zia | 15 Jun, 2017

Pakistanis are on cloud nine right now after beating South Africa, Sri Lanka and then England respectively to reach the glorious final of the Champions Trophy 2017. Certainly it led to a bucket load of celebration from Pakistanis all over the world.

While we were celebrating fervently, we had international sportsmen tweeting congratulations to the boys in green.

Our man Shane Warne

South African Graeme…

And legend Chris Gayle…

The Jemima and Fatima Bhutto had a little banter over the celebration, also

Kumar Sangakkara also congratulated Pakistan’s solid win against England

And so did Saeed Ajmal

Do you notice anything odd?

Yup, he pretty much just pulled the old ‘copy-and-paste’ and copied bechara Kumar’s tweet, slyly (but not so subtly) replacing the @TheRealPCB with Pakistan.

Ajmal’s sneakiness didn’t go unnoticed

People really were savage with how the tweet was a WORD-FOR-WORD copy of Sangakarra’s

Some people actually forgot the rules of being a civilized human being

And wrongly targeted Saeed’s English

This reminded us of the whole controversy with Sarfraz, too.

Wow, that’s a little rude.

dad of Pakistan had some valuable closing comments

What do you think of Saeed Ajmal and Kumar’s tweet being word-for-word, same?
