Last night showcased one of the finest outfits we’ve seen in quite a while on the Pakistani ramp. Day two of ‘Shaan-E-Pakistan’s The Fashion Soiree took place last night in Karachi, with the Indian designers behind Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s blockbuster ‘Padmaavat,’ present to showcase their clothes…and we were literally left speechless by Saba Qamar, who was their showstopper for the evening.
We were teased with various BTS shots of Saba getting ready for the show, literally wearing the same costume from the film itself

And for the first time In Pakistan, they showcased a glimpse of their work with ‘The Padmaavat Experience’ by ‘Rimple and Harpreet’ for the prestigious evening
The incredibly venerated designers chose our very own Saba Qamar to showcase their clothes, and my goodness just look at her as their showstopper
We see SUCH an uncanny resemblance with the original Padmavati herself, reigning Bollywood queen Deepika Padukone
She’s ready for a historic period film, and we’re honestly hoping Sanjay Leela Bhansali casts her because we just can’t keep our eyes off her!
The heavily embroidered suit was embellished in gold with dapples of red velvet
We aspired to the confidence Saba was walking with, as she shasayed around the ramp to an audience in utter awe
And here she is, looking absolutely majestic as ‘Padmavati’ with the designers themselves
