Rumors have been circulating on social media that our very own Saba Qamar will soon be making her debut in Hollywood!
Various online Instagram accounts are reporting that Saba will be all set to make a debut with none other than A-lister Ben Affleck!
News publication ‘Dunya News’ stated that it isn’t a rumor, but it’s true and that she’s signed a movie with Ben Affleck, and confirmed that the actress ‘did not want to reveal or discuss anything about the project’
After unfortunate tensions on the rise between India and Pakistan, it is a delight that our actors will be collaborating with Hollywood, and we really do hope this isn’t just something to get our hopes up high! (FINGERS CROSSED SO TIGHTLY THEY MIGHT JUST FALL OFF).
And as for Ben Affleck? Well, the man doesn’t really need an introduction, he’s one of the finest actors in Hollywood, with a plethora of award-winning work up his sleeve
Both an actor and a filmmaker, he’s won two Academy Awards, three Golden Globes, and two BAFTAs. His due came when he won the Golden Globe and Academy Award for ‘Best Original Screenplay’ with the magnificent film ‘Good Will Hunting’ alongside close friend and fellow actor Matt Damon (which they also starred in). He’s been in cult classics like ‘Armageddon,’ ‘Pearl Harbor,’ and his directorial debut with ‘Gone Baby Gone’ earned him tremendous recognition, as did his other directorial classics like ‘Argo’ which earned him a Golden Globe and BAFTA for ‘Best Director,’ and an Academy Award for ‘Best Picture.’
AND THERE IS NO DOUBT that Saba is a fine, fine actress, one of the best we have!
The actress has won various accolades for her magnificent, varied portrayals in dramas like ‘Besharam,’ ‘Sangat,’ ‘Digest Writer,’ ‘Dastaan’ and the more recent ‘Baaghi,’ which earned her ‘Best Actress’ at the recent Lux Style Awards. The actress has also made history with her glorious debut in ‘Hindi Medium,’ one of Indian cinema’s highest ranking films of all time!
