Now, we know former Indian cricketer, Navjot Singh Sidhu showed up to be a part of Khan’s celebrations, right?
It was a huge deal for both nations and a step in the right direction as per Naya Pakistan ideals, and Pakistanis were amazed at the kind gesture Sidhu made by showing up. Imran Khan had sent out invitations to many of his old buddies from his Cricket times, and Sidhu showing up is a huge deal to Imran Khan and Pakistanis.
So much of Respect for this guy who admires his relation with Pakistan openly and whole heartedly. Who came here with a msg of peace and friendship.
Welcome Sidhuu pajii 💚 #NavjotSinghSidhu— Ayesha. (@Aysh_01) August 17, 2018
Some welcomed him with open arms.

Aside from virtual welcomes, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa gave him a personal welcome at the Oath Ceremony.
#india #pakistan Pakistan COAS meets Indian cricket star attending PM oath. I asked Sidhu what words were exchanged between them He said ur COAS is a wonderful person and I requested for our visit to nankana sahb COAS said more then welcome And this touched my heart 🇵🇰🇮🇳 pic.twitter.com/pbZU8dVwcE

And Pakistanis were overjoyed with excitement..

But one person in particular had an opinion on this. That person was Reham Khan.
Back in June, Reham Khan gave an interview with an Indian journalist and Pakistanis were not too pleased by what was stated in the interview. She basically got a lot of shit for the interview. You can watch a snippet of the interview below.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQN0C9qHr2M
Well, she came onto Twitter to express her thoughts regarding the matter.
If I give an interview to an Indian journalist I am slapped with a RAW label.
Let Gen QJ Bajwa sets a good example. https://t.co/zwFG1Rr7Rh— Reham Khan (@RehamKhan1) August 18, 2018
Now, we all know context matters. Maybe the contexts don’t particularly align in this case. But anyway, once she tweeted this, Pakistanis went in at her again.
Once again Reham found herself in deep waters.
@ImranKhanPTI @HassanNisar @FaisalJavedKhan Please go in hiding dear! Your tweets are just too “annoying” now!! May Allah Help calm u down! I’m sure you’re really “sorry” today for a chance of a Lifetime “loss”! Allah is Protecting our Country! AH … A devout Overseas Pakistani)

Some tried to explain the differences between the two situations.

When you give interview, you literally abuse Pakistan. Thats the difference
— 1 (@BeOrNotToBe1111) August 18, 2018
Actually, many people did.
There is hell of difference between sidhu personality whome our army chief met and you…..Sidhu did not spoke against his country while meeting Army chief while you always speak against Pakistan during your interview with Indian channel after all this is for wht you are paid for

Ap ke interview denay me and Army Chief ke milnay me bara farq hai madam 😏😏😏
— Uzma Fatima Buzdar (@UzmaBuzdar) August 18, 2018
Most Pakistans were simply insulted at her reaction and basically requested for her to check herself.
He is COAS,, what are you?? Imran khan’s ex wife and that’s it??
— faisal khan (@fysl_khan) August 19, 2018
IK is representing #Pakistan n COAS is the sapah salaar of #Pakistan stop comparing urself to other credible ppl.

I mean, she can have an opinion on matters. But yeah, opinions can be both right and wrong. Do you think Reham Khan reacting in such a manner was the right thing to do or did she cross the line?
