Actress Reema Khan is one of the most renowned Pakistani actresses of our time, peaking during the 1990s as Lollywood’s reigning queen. She was recognized by Pakistani film director Javed Fazil in the leading 1990 film ‘Bulandi’ and it was only up and beyond for her from there on.
Reema’s worked with all of our 90’s Lollywood actors, from Shaan to Moammar Rana and quickly ventured successfully into the producer’s world too.
Geo News reported earlier that Reema had given an interview to a “private channel” where she made some startling revelations about a fellow actress.
Allegedly, according to this “private channel,” Reema claimed that a fellow actress was given Rs. 1 lakh to poison her and that “to date, she knows who the person who tried to take her life [is]” and that “God saved her from the vicious attempt.”
The shocking confession was quickly picked up by local Lahore news channel ‘Lahore Rang,’ who reached out to the actress to address the claims made.
She said that a “normal interview” had been misquoted, and that she was pressurised into answering the same question by a journalist with whom she named to be Naeem Butt Saab. Reema claimed that the interview she had given was misconstrued and blown out of proportion after seeing banners running on a particular channel.
She went on to claim that all the content she gave was not used, and instead was plucked into creating something with the wrong premise…
However she continually failed to mention whether or not the comments she made about an actress poisoning her were true…leaving us fumbling in the dark. Here’s the report made by ‘Lahore Rang:’
