Imran Ashraf Has Outdone Himself In “Ranjha Ranjha Kardi's” PHENOMENAL Latest Episode And Every Actor Can Go Home

“Woh Bhola jaise nahi hai, meri biwi bohot pyaari hai.”

This week I finally witnessed the kernel of the drama ‘Ranjha Ranja Kardi.’ I finally got to see Imran Ashraf sparkle on screen as Bhola. My goodness, we are truly living in the dawn of a legend. He time and time again astounds me with his heart-wrenching acting.

*spoiler alert*

Bhola’s mother is so relieved and ecstatic, it’s endearing to witness a mother’s love so unconditional, so much so that she truly wants the absolute best for his son – no matter how hard it might be at times to raise him. She’s so adamant that his son gets married quickly. It’s a big day for Bhola; he’s finally getting married and the nikkah ceremony is a light, yet emotional affair.

Bhola couldn’t be happier, but what happens later is heartbreaking. Two boys he thought were his friends taunt him about whether or not his dhulan is “pagal” like him. He’s in a beautiful moment, calling her a “pari” and that’s when these two absolute assholes trigger him. They ask for pictures of his bride-to-be, and when he questions why they haven’t shown him their own wives, they claim she’s “special” like him, implying she too is mentally disabled.

This scene is why Imran is toplining every single actor in the industry; Bhola has a seizure and his ‘friends’ lie about what happened. He’s unconscious and his doting mother can’t stop worrying. Bhola wakes up calling out for his dhulan and thinks the female housekeeper is hiding her from him, in one of his outbursts. He comes downstairs, asking his chacha where she is. Komal insists that nothing of that has happened, and tries to calm him down. He doesn’t believe that his dhulan’s just gone out shopping. His chacha and chachi who I have despised from day one just FYI, can’t seem to understand his condition, simply because they choose not to.

He worries for his dhulan, because of his internal fear of losing people – an innate trait of his condition; and while his outburst doesn’t lessen in intensity, that’s when here’s where things get seriously unfathomable. His chacha gives him a dose of sleeping pills which we don’t think anyone else in the house knows about. It’s a shockingly high dosage because of how quickly he calms down and passes out. Meanwhile, Noori has no idea she’ll be Bhola’s wife, and while she’s still mourning the loss of conman Sahir, she just has to plow on through life. Regardless, Iqra was fantastic but it was Imran who honestly stole the show. This man is really quite something. He is an ACTOR.
