The film ‘Rangreza’ has slowly been unraveling upon its winter arrival at the end of the year. Starring Bilal Ashraf, Urwa Farhan and Gohar Rasheed in lead roles, the exact story weaving ‘Rangreza’ together is yet unknown. However various snippets of posters have been released along with lyrical songs that have both been aesthetically vivid and incredibly colorful. We also know it will be a musical romance, heavily inspired by Bollywood with the soundtrack composed by Qurram Hussain of ‘Josh’ fame.
The quick teaser released gave us a glimpse into the three protagonists
The team behind the film recently released the poster too
The first song released was the zappy ‘Phool Khil Jayien’ sung by our venerated queen Abida Parveen
With soft acoustics and an incredibly dreamlike feel to it, the song was soft and supple as it projected Abida jee’s voice magnificently.
And now the film has unfailingly continued their ode to Bollywood with a really splendid new release, ‘Bagiya’
The song, sung by Jonita Gandhi of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil,’ ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ and ‘Highway’ fame has lent her gloriously old-school vocals to the song that will be acted out by Urwa’s character. The song, meaning ‘garden,’ tells the romantic tale of peacocks in fervent dance in a pungent air full of love and zest. Have a listen below!

Pakistanis have commended the track
And lauded Jonita for such fresh vocals
It’s only further fuelled curiosity over the film
A few complimented Urwa’s unveiling look in the film
What did you think of the song? We’re rather anxious to see the musical video behind it, and until then we can let our imaginations run wild!
