When Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt announced they were dating, they were met with a lot of backlash, mostly people calling their relationship fake and whatnot.
It’s going to almost be a year since Ranbir announced their relationship.
It seems like they’re both going strong. Alia flew with Ranbir to New York multiple times when the actor went to see his father, Rishi Kapoor, who was undergoing treatment there.
The couple was recently seen together at the Zee Cine Awards, where Alia won the ‘Best Actress’ Award for her role in ‘Raazi’.
Ranbir Kapoor also won the award for Best Actor for his role as Sanju.
When the announcement was made, Ranbir swooped in for a kiss, but it didn’t turn out as expected.
Yikes. As Alia turned around about thanking Deepika, she’s caught by surprise by Ranbir, who’s coming in for a smooch.
Well, to be fair, both Ranbir and Alia acknowledge the awkwardness of what had just happened and also laughed about. That being said, it is still pretty cringy to be watching.
