Soon, however, protests started being organized. People wanted Zainab’s murder to be avenged. Amidst these protests, reports of protestors being attacked started making the rounds.

Obviously, this didn’t go down well with those who came across this piece of news. Emotions were already running high after the initial bit of news regarding Zainab started spreading. Once news of the attack spread, it served as further fuel for the fire burning inside Pakistanis.

The entire series of incidents has been nothing but disgraceful and terrifying. It seems like a dark day for Pakistan as a whole as we mourn a life that departed too soon in the cruelest way. All we can do is hope that the culprit is caught and justice for Zainab is served.
