As is customary for every Pakistan Day with a parade, President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain showed up at the parade festivities. Considering he’s the “ceremonial” head of the State, President Hussain took part in the parade ceremony with much fanfare.
Just look at the excitement on his face here while being driven to the stage
But, because this is one of the VERY FEW times Pakistanis actually got to see President Hussain be a part of any official events they were ready with their Mamnoon jokes
And boy, were Pakistanis savage:
"ye kon hai"
My sister asked me, when she saw "Mamnoon hussain" on TV.

You’re not the only one, bhai ji. I had no idea we had a president, either.
People had A LOT to say about his appearance:
Mamnoon Hussain gets tired on the only day of the year that he actually has some work. pic.twitter.com/E8wicrxqm2

Some correctly said Pakistan Day should be renamed…
It shouldn't be Pakistan Resolution Day, it should be Mamnoon Hussain deedar day. #PakistanDay

It’s such a shame he had to work on a public holiday, what with ALL the work he does.
Pori quome ki 23rd march ko chutti hoti hay Orr "Mamnoon Hussain" sahab .. we are sorry sirrr.. you have work on a public holiday ..

A lot of Pakistanis were reminded of what this day really means
Happy #PakistanDay ! our annual reminder of unity, faith and discipline, that the PAF is pretty cool and mamnoon hussain is alive and well!

Mamnoon has quickly become a beacon of hope for many.
There's only one person who makes me feel a little less useless in life and that's Mamnoon Hussain.

— Bilal Safi (@Bilalsafi161) March 20, 2017

And many guessed the need for Mamnoon sahab to venture out of the comfort of his home…
"Ghar ki chezon ko galnay sarhnay se bachanay k liey kabhi kabhi unko dhoop lagwa lein"
— Rao. (@TalhaRao_) March 23, 2017
In case he suffered from Vitamin D deficiency

Don’t worry Mamnoon fans, hopefully, he’ll get into the television business.
Bol TV should give Mamnoon Hussain a show as well. At least we’ll get to see him more often.
