In wouldn’t be an understatement to say that Iqra Aziz is the country’s sweetheart. From her hit comedy show, ‘Suno Chanda’, to her multiple campaigns and photo shoots, the actor has gained popularity and continues to grow in the industry. With this popularity comes the unforgiving eyes with which people see your work.

Iqra Aziz recently posed for ace Pakistani photographer, Abdullah Haris. 

This black and white photo is both haunting and also raw. Usually, we see Iqra in glammed up avatars however, this is a change.

Beyond these comments, the rest of them were extremely disturbing, and some were just plain unfunny and distressing.

She was called names, and then drawn comparisons with her character on ‘Ranjha Ranjha Kardi’. 

Some people were clearly trying to be funny. 

Iqra was referred to as a ‘charsi’ and someone who does ‘sasti chars’. 

She was just called all sorts of names, and they were all equally as bad.

People were also “joking” about how Iqra would also win a ‘Tamgha E Imtiaz’ next year, but for all the wrong reasons. 

Some were giving some really bad suggestions. 

The worst of it all were people who were making “jokes” about rape. 

Let me say this, just to be clear- rape is no joke! Some were referring to the recent developments on ‘Ranjha Ranjha Kardi’, while others just chose to make insensitive and vile jokes on the matter.

We often see celebrities get a lot of hate for their photoshoots and most of the time this hatred crosses a line, as is the case with this photo of Iqra. Every time we see such responses to photos, it is just shocking to see how far people go to poke fun at someone or bring them down.
