TikTok stars Hareem Shah and Sundal Khattak were disrespected by a TV anchor
The immensely famous social media app, Tiktok, has been a boon for many previously underrepresented people and communities. In Pakistan, specifically, there are many young people who have become bonafide celebrities among the youth because of their TikTok videos.
Among the many TikTok stars in Pakistan are Hareem Shah and Sundal Khattak
The duo has become an internet sensation after its viral videos with influential political leaders took the country by storm.
Both the girls have been enjoying their TikTok generated popularity and millions of fans
Sundal Khattak has 159.8K followers on TikTok and Hareem Shah has a massive following of 1.4 million, till the time this post was published. They are often seen in the videos together. They have been in the news for their various antics, like the viral video where they met politician Fayyaz ul Hasan Chohan.
They were recently on a TV show to discuss their viral fame and the anchor behaved extremely demeaningly toward them
In the past, they have been approached by several media people for interviews, However, this interview with a news channel did not go so well.
The anchor did not only ask personal questions in a demeaning tone but also ended up insulting the two TikTok stars
In response, the girls remained calm and tried to deal with the questions bombarded by the host.

People heavily criticized the anchor and mentioned that he has no right to intrude into the personal lives of the girls in the way he did
They kept on pointing out that the questions were way too personal to be asked of Hareem Shah and Sundal Khattak
People even mentioned that Hareem Shah and Sundal Khattak were not obliged to answer the host and should not have replied to such questions
A few argued that such questions should be asked to the politicians who are actually answerable to the population and not private citizens
Majority of the people were shocked and angered by the audacity of the anchor
