People Are Endlessly Trolling The ‘Student Of The Year 2' Trailer, And It's Totally Justified

By Arslan Athar | 12 Apr, 2019

‘Student Of The Year’ became quite the hit a few years back and propelled the careers of Siddharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt, and Varun Dhawan. Due to the success of the film, the makers of the movie chose to make a sequel called ‘Student of the Year 2’. It has announced a few years back that Tiger Shroff would be leading the film.

Personally, I had issues with the casting since I don’t quite like the actor.

I thought I would give the movie a chance till at least the trailer comes out, and it turns out I was right.

The film features a complicated love triangle.

The love triangle angle will make you think ‘why’? Weren’t we done with these types of storylines?

With major sprinkles of shirtless shots of Tiger Shroff, so if you’re into that sort of thing, you’re in for a treat.

The movie basically is full of grown ass adults playing really frustrated college kids who will be triggered to fight till the death very easily.

I’m not the only one who thinks this way.

People were NOT happy, like at all.

Nepotism ka naara laga tha.

People just wanted to remove the trailer from their memory.

Crossover jokes were made and they were GOOOD.

The jokes were actually endless.

The intensity of the criticism was next level.

Man, I thought I was harsh.

People online passed a verdict on the trailer.

What criticism of a Karan Johar movie is complete without a Karan Johar diss.

The trailer was truly a huge letdown. Of course, Student of the Year 2 falls in the category of Bollywood films that are mindless entertainment, however, the trailer was just all glamor shots and fight scenes, and there was no appeal to go actually see the movie.

That being said, what do you feel about the film?
