One of the staples of shaadi season is the all the mehndi dancing that comes with it. Professional choreography, props, sets and whatnot – people go all out. This patriotic couple tried to do something similar.

With hands on their hearts, standing attention all around the stage with guests surrounding them, the couple sang their hearts out for the national anthem.

Unfortunately, people didn’t appreciate this couple’s gesture of love for their country

Many thought that their performance was an insult

There was the odd one out who actually did enjoy this unique display of patriotism

Some even took offence to the couple smiling and even “laughing” at their wedding

There were comments about “spoilt” rich kids being told how to love their country

And this one just took it a whole next level
