Sarwat Gilani, the ever so talented Pakistani actress, model and host, is expecting her second child. Sarwat Gilani and the husband Fahad Mirza tied the knot back in 2014 and the chirpy couple has appeared in a colossal number of photographs together ever since. The couple recently did a photo-shoot for a lifestyle magazine, Good Times. Even though it’s just like any of their other photoshoots, this one has been the brunt of significant criticism from some people; merely because Sarwat Gilani is proudly flaunting her baby bump.
A few other lifestyle and entertainment pages ecstatically shared the picture.
The comments underneath the picture, however, are horrendous, to say the least.
Some of them, as expected, were quick to accuse Sarwat of following Rihanna, Kareena and generally Bollywood blindly, without actually getting to know the dynamics of it all.
We honestly didn’t know there are some particular dynamics or set of rules attached to taking pregnancy pictures.
While others termed it as a lack of ‘sharam-o-haya’
Self-contradictory statements were all over the place.
But some called out the commenters on the phapay-kutni attitude as well.
Others relied on sarcasm to get their point across
While some think only goras can get pregnant and take pictures of their baby bumps
Some of them, however, were happy for the couple and had all the best wishes for them
Pregnancy is a beautiful thing and Sarwat does look stunningly gorgeous, beyond any doubt. Live and let live, shall we?
