It’s been ten years since Pakistanis lost the ICC T20 World Cup Final in Johannesburg to India. India scraped in a win with just five more runs. It was a dreary day for Pakistani supporters who felt cast into the shadows of their gloating arch-nemesis. Since then it’s been a hustle and bustle of varying tournaments that have seen both countries at their soaring best and grudging worst.
Jump to current halaath, and you find Pakistan miserably losing to India at the ICC Champions Trophy, but honeying up this wound with a hat-trick win against South Africa, Sri Lanka and England respectively.
The final is now upon us, and Pakistanis are already bleeding green, ready for the ultimate cage match.
People are REALLY nervous (plz don’t remind us of T20, boys, thanks)

With Pakistanis sniffing out these rather tasteless tweets with spectacular comebacks

We can always count on the few sportsmen to be humble in such a strife

But still, it is incredibly nerve-wracking…
Anxiety, tension & nausea are the true emotions before India vs Pakistan. Only part time cricket followers get giddy & excited.

Because the wait until Sunday is unfathomable
