Rabia Butt is certainly well known face, even if you don’t know her by her name. You’ve probably seen her modelling in a number of lawn ads, or sashaying down the ramp for all those bridal fashion weeks that are endlessly played on the TV.
Rabia’s one of the top models in Pakistan, right now
She’s an actress, as well
Having made her debut in the Urdu language movie, Hijrat, Rabia officially ventured into acting.
Rabia is also an April Fool prank victim
The innocent lady fell for a prank by Express Tribune, that has been circulating on social media as part of their April Fool’s Day content.
The particular “news item” is supposed to have broken the news about the naming of Islamabad airport. It’s with “screenshots” of famous politicians making statements about the naming so to think that someone didn’t read the thing carefully and fell for that prank wouldn’t be a stretch.
Rabia was infuriated about the “news”
She took to her Instagram and vented out about this apparent development to her, more than, 78 thousand followers.
And so were her followers
People could just not fathom something like this happening
This guy was more worried about “pronounciat”ing the new name
While this one was pretty happy about the gesture
Little does he know…
This one just about had it
Yeah…
But then some sane voices started helping out everyone who hadn’t read the “news” carefully enough
Since it is the age of fake news, April Fool’s jokes are doubly entertaining
As for Rabia, this is exactly what we’re feeling:
Hope you had a laugh once you realized the joke, Rabia =)
Happy April Fool’s Day!
