Remember long long long ago, we had a gora come to Pakistan and host a show about his experience here? Looking back at it now, it wasn’t the best idea but hey, we all had fun.
But that gora, also known by his actual name, George Fulton, LOVES Pakistan. So much so that he apparently went ahead and married one.
Well George is exploring a new Pakistan today, the fashion industry and the adventures of Fashion Week.
Much to our joy he live tweeted it, and it’s glorious
Ok boys & girls I will be live tweeting the fabulousness that is Pakistan Fashion Week for u tonight #PFW17 #PFW

He’s been quick to spot the absurdity that is our media
Asked by 92 News what the latest trends are for PK fashion – clearly know an expert when they see one! #PFW17 #PFW

George was particularly perplexed by everyone’s affinity for a “selfie”
Strangely dead atmosphere – everyone standing around either being photographed or photographing. #PFW17 #PFW

Arey Mr Fulton, photos (on a magazine’s Instagram page) or it didn’t happen.
After the photos George was ushered into the… uhh.. cattle market?
We're all waiting to enter the main arena? Show ground? Runway? Ramp? Catwalk? Cattle market? What's it called? #PFW17

If you couldn’t figure out your doctoral thesis, George will help you
Anthropologically this is fascinating & raises important Qs. E.g how much air should u leave between cheek &kiss? #FPW17

Soon George realized that to appear cool among the Pakistani fashion crowd he needed dark sunglasses, indoors… at night.
Feel very stupid, I left my sunglasses at home…it being night and all. #FPW17
— George Fulton (@GeorgeFulton1) February 23, 2017
But, oh well.
He really understands what it’s like to be common
Three categories as you enter Gold, Sliver and plebs. Being a pleb didn't get to strut my stuff on red carpet ?#FPW17
— George Fulton (@GeorgeFulton1) February 23, 2017
Oho George sahab, don’t find meaning in the fashion industry
Okay there is a women wearing an orange cape – is this an allegory to Trump as Superman? Who knows? Who cares..#FPW17
— George Fulton (@GeorgeFulton1) February 23, 2017
PFW really seems to be capturing his imagination
Lights are on… the room is humming with…mild boredom. #FPW17
— George Fulton (@GeorgeFulton1) February 23, 2017
And then he was bombarded with mattress ads
Just handed something by an usher. I thought it was a programme – but a promotional flyer. La Dolce Vita indeed! #FPW17
— George Fulton (@GeorgeFulton1) February 23, 2017
We get it they’re comfortable now please just stop.
George then appeared to have a thing for the emcee
Elocution lady is sounding quite cross now – people are standing in front of the screens.cont.
— George Fulton (@GeorgeFulton1) February 23, 2017
He really wanted to impress her
Tempted to somersault down the catwalk to hear her response! #FPW17
— George Fulton (@GeorgeFulton1) February 23, 2017
And then the models came out, and he crossed a line
The models don't stay long at the end of the catwalk – as if they've farted at a drinks party.#FPW17
— George Fulton (@GeorgeFulton1) February 23, 2017
*botoxed jaw drop*
Not to worry, the emcee returned and George began to get dirty thoughts
Elocution lady is back – she sounds like a sexy, angry, schoolmistress. I hope she has a cane. #FPW17
— George Fulton (@GeorgeFulton1) February 23, 2017
He could smell a shitty script from a mile away
Elocution lady introducing a brand talks about equilibrium and inner sanctum. Who writes this gibberish? #FPW17
— George Fulton (@GeorgeFulton1) February 23, 2017
Then he found his summer fashion tips from the male models
Male models are on now – it appears that no socks and your left hand in your pocket is the latest male trends. #FPW17
— George Fulton (@GeorgeFulton1) February 23, 2017
And then he tried one last time to find meaning in the clueless world of fashion
Model has a sign that says 'She is you'. Is 'she' though? Is she? #FPW17
— George Fulton (@GeorgeFulton1) February 23, 2017
For the sake of our ‘lols’ please go to more fashion shows, Mr. Fulton.
