The previous President of the United States just ranked ‘Exit West’ by Mohsin Hamid as his fifth most enjoyable read of 2017.

The ex-President Barack Obama recently posted his annual list of faves of the year and our very own Pakistani author, Mohsin Hamid made it to the list. Hamid, whose first book, ‘Moth Smoke,’ was an instant hit all over the world, has been churning out non-stop hits over the years.

The latest addition to his roster, ‘Exit West,’ has taken the literary world by storm. Topping charts and even having the author tour the United States for the book, which proved it to be a wild success.

Not to mention the fact that it was also shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize, as was his previous book, ‘The Reluctant Fundamentalist.’

And um, hello – if this guy says he likes it,

We all know it’s pretty good.
