Moral policing has gone crazy

So there are only two weeks left to Valentine’s day and people have already begun to lose their shit. For whatever reason, the interaction between men and women out of wedlock is seen as something really sinister.A certain segment of society even believes that it can destroy an entire civilization if girls and boys who aren’t married even talk to each other.

Like this one college in Sialkot is supposed to have actually fined a boy Rs. 2000 for having a ‘chit chat’ with a girl

The fine note was initially posted by a Reddit user and has quickly spread all across Pakistani social media.

According to the note, the boy was punished for standing with a girl and having a “chit chat” with her. Now, we are not certain that the same penalty applies to somebody who would just be talking to a girl instead of “chit chatting”. Our assumption is that by chit chat the institution is referring to talking on subjects other than your run of the mill, parhai.

Naturally, people were taken aback by this. Some saw this as completely outrageous and were completely livid
