One of Pakistan’s top models, the esteemed Mehreen Syed just got a major promotion last night, ranking with all the mega models of the world. They say you haven’t truly made it in the fashion world as a venerated model if you haven’t taken a tumble or two on the runway during your multi-billionaire career – from Naomi Campbell to Kate Moss and Candice Swanepoel, all these models have added the feather of ‘gracefully falling on the runway’ to their hats.
Last night, during FPW in Karachi, a beautifully pregnant Mehreen Syed took to the runway to showcase designer Zainab Chottani’s fall collection
…Looking absolutely breathtaking, might we add
As she walked out, however, the model accidentally slipped on the runway – YIKES
BUT BEING THE Q U E E N that she is, Mehreen gracefully got back up and admirably composed herself once more to finish the walk
…All the while mesmerizing the audiences, many of who broke into clapping for the model.
In a post-walk press conference, Mehreen said how she had been praising herself all night and that nazr was the reason for her fall
She said “itni mein achi lag rahi thi” that ‘nazr hi lagayi.”
